Rev. Eric Douglas

Rev. Eric Douglas began his pastorship of First United Methodist Church of Mineral Wells on July 1, 2016.

It is his third senior pastorship. His first pastorship was at Dido United Methodist Church, a small country church in far northwest Tarrant County. His first senior pastorship was at First United Methodist Church in Bartlett, located on State Highway 95 between Temple and Austin.

He comes to Mineral Wells having served as associate pastor at First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie.

Having grown up in Belton, Douglas, 30, and his wife, Brittney, are the parents of two daughters – Kalea and Anastasia.

He is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University, where he received a Bachelor of Religion degree, and Asbury Theological Seminary, where he received his Master of Divinity degree.

On June 13, 2017, Rev. Douglas was among 11 Methodist ministers ordained during the 2017 Central Texas Annual Conference in Mansfield.
